- 1 packet butter cookies (“palets au beurre”)
- 8 oz (250 g) bitter orange marmalade
- 5½ oz (150 g) dark chocolate
- ¼ cup (60 g) butter
- 2/3 cup (15 cl) whole milk
Preparation
To prepare the ingredients
- Cut the chocolate into small pieces
Preparation
- Crush the cookies and place them in the bottom of some heart-shaped molds (or an ordinary mold)
- Spread a thin layer of orange marmalade on top
- Put them in the refrigerator
- Bring the milk to the boil, add the pieces of chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted. Stir in the butter
- Mix all of the ingredients together well
- Remove the molds from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate cream on top of the cookies
- Leave to set for 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Decorate with fine strands of orange zest and chocolate shavings
Hints and tips
If you do not have any heart-shaped molds, you can use a cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped pieces
To make the chocolate shavings, use a potato peeler or mandolin.
