- 14 oz (400 g) marrons glacés or candied chestnut pieces
- 7 oz (200 g) bitter chocolate
- 5 oz (150 g) butter

- 1 cup (1/4 l) milk
- 2 oz (50 g) finely granulated (caster) sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 oz (30 ml) rum

- Crumble chestnuts
- Line a square pan or cake pan with parchment paper
- Cut chocolate into pieces

- Melt chocolate and butter in a mixing bowl over hot water
- Once completely melted, mix quickly with a
